  • Perspective question

Hi there people, got a question maybe some1 who can figure out an sollution.

We have made an bird-eye impression of a very larg area (loads of photoshop work and 3d).
now a other client would is building reght next to this area and also wants and birds-eye view. he thought well we could combine them, make use of the first one and build the area next to it in 3D.

Now does any1 have an idea how we can get both perspectives so they match. ?

The simplest solution I guess would be using your first work as a texture, apply it to a plane placed on correct location and include it on your new work render.
If there isn't much perspective on your view it may work, otherwise it can look funny

Ops, forgot to say that a good way to apply the texture to the plane with the correct perspective is using the camera mapping modifier, the procedure would be something like:
      - Go to your first scene
      - Create a plane that encloses the extension of the project
      - Apply a camera mapping modifier to the plane and pick your original camera in the modifier.
      - Apply the render to the plane as a texture using explicit map channel
      - Convert the plane to edit poly (to fix the mapping)
      - Use this plane in your new project.

      Hope it helps
