laptop recommendations

i'm looking to buy a laptop to use with cad and max. does anyone have any recommendations? i'm thinking of dell, and i'll be limiting it to win xp32.....

I've got a Dell M90 - works like a dream... so far....

I use it as a render node plus I do a lot of rhino 3d work on it.

I'm quite happy with my Samsung X60plus - Nice screen res @ 1680x1050 and reasonable viewport and render performance with max.

hey, thanks for the pointers guys. yeah, it was either an macbook or dell. does windows run well on the macbooks? i might settle for an dell m1530.

I run vista x64 with 4gb ram. The only thing that I can't find a driver for is bluetooth, but I use a wired mouse so it doesnt bother me.

Wait till after tuesday, the macbook pro's might get a bump up in spec.
