  • Ron Fedkiw !!

    Hello,

    check this out !

    http://physbam.stanford.edu/~fedkiw/

I came across this site years ago. But I somehow lost the link until there was an article
on maxunderground some weeks ago. If you donĀ“t allready know this site take some time
and watch all the videos. Really mind blowing stuff !!! Especially the fluids with different viscosity.

    cheers,

    sam

            Hi,

yes his stuff is cool. And he received an technical achievement award for his work now. Btw the guys from Scanline VFX got one for their fluid work, too. They also use VRay (and other renderers).
            Congratulations to you guys!

            Best regards,
            Dieter

Fedkiw is a beast indeed. Tho watching his movies is definately more fun then reading his books :P anyways here's the full paper :
              http://www.frankpetterson.com/public...pray/spray.pdf
It doesnt actually dive into the rendering part as it is mainly about SOLVING rather then rendering so implicits arent mentioned as it was seemingly rendered with exisiting renderman presets.

              Kind Regards,
              Thorsten
