  • Very oT: reset pallette locations in ADT

    Hi
I'm going mad! I had a dual screen setup on my home pc on which I run AutoCAD ADT. I have had to change my graphics card so I can now only have the one screen.
When I type 'LA' to get the layer manager dialogue box up, the dialogue is obviously on the 'other screen' that I don't have connected up any more!!! How do I reset all the panel locations? This is driving me mad! I can't do anywork here 'cause my panels are on a screen that doesn't exist!

    There must be a way,
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

check for an ini file. I know 3dsmax stores its window locations in 3dsmax.ini

This has turned controversial in the past

but try typing "LC" then "Alt+Space Bar" then "M" then press an arrow key, with any luck the window will be stuck to your mouse and you can move it back into view.
