New server

We are looking for a new server. Anyone know the main differences between the HP ML and DL servers? I know quite a bit about PCs and have built many myself, but my knowledge falls apart when it comes to servers: the HP website is full of information, but it is difficult to get a summary.

Wondered if any of you guys had any experience apart from our hardware suppliers that might be useful.

DL's are rackmounts while ML's are towers (that can be rackmounted with a kit).
