    That is correct. If you are currently on subs for 2008, you will receive 2009 as soon as it is available. Subscription is an annual renewal regardless of how many releases take place in that time.

    One of the other advantages of subs is the previous version usage allowance. If you are a normal upgrade user, you are required to remove the previous version from your machine, but if you're on subs, you can keep them all loaded. At the very least this allows you to remain productive with your current version while integrating the newest version on the side.

            WTF - I just noticed the availability to crossgrade from Viz to MAX for $250!!!! $250? $250? $250????? I crossgraded between Viz to Max 9 and it cost me ~$1500. Thanks a lot Autodesk, FU !!!
