Plenty of people are, they just dont put it on the internet. Its harder to show and talk about a real time presentation you sorted out from a botched together map in crysis than it is to put up a still image.

Ive done 2 large scale ones, but they were messy, long winded and mostly done without a real understanding of what was happening - which you need if you are to tell someone else how to do it/talk about it without looking like an idiot. 'just dick about for a bit' doesnt make a very good guide.
