  • render region

    hi all,
i have a scene wich i've done for a client a while ago renderd in PAL.
now the client comes to me, and i have to render the same project in 16:9, so 1280:576.
so logical, when i set the render output in max from old PAL (768x576) to custom 1280:576 he simply has to add 512 px in wide no???
but what he's doing is to CROP the render region in hight, and add to the wide.
so the render region is different.
but the client needs exactly the same position, just the 512px in wide added.

maybe its just dump, but how can i do this????????

    best regards

    Silly Max XD
You'll have to pull the camera back to match the original height, i reckon.
If it was animated, just have auto-key off, and do whatever move/zoom you need.

      ah but thats f... silly....
it has to match Perfectly with the old footage, cause the client just replace the old footage in compositing. i can't match it such perfect i think.

but what is this for DAMN F...?????
all i want to do is the f.. render region to be wider without crop the hight.
      it HAS to work.!!!!!!!!!

You can try to use Overscan script to change the render output:
