  • Anyone else get this Backburner error?

    Application load error: @#$$#@

    I haven't found any reference to it when Googled or on the Autodesk site.

    I don't know the exact file that is missing but I believe you need to reinstall BB. I think this happened to me because I simply copied files over from another installation. I have not had time to investigate it further.

        jonahhawk: Odd. I haven't touched the BB install since last rendering out a video, but a reinstall does sound in order.

          I got that message a long time ago. After some research, I found that that error is shown when it can't find the real error message to display. That's why it puts those characters. In reality, the error could be something you've seen before, but there's no way to know. I had to remove all traces of BB from the manager system and re-install. Haven't had it since.
