  • bacburner 2009 fix

not sure if this is old news already, but i'll post anyway and hope it saves someone the hassle

backburner causes unexpected exceptions with cameras, there's a thread below and optional fixes on page 4

    http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/f...ead/10903/P30/

...in short, the quickest fix was to rename/move AutoCamMax.gup in stdplugs from the machine submitting the render job

i just tried, and all is fine now - at least for the moment...

not sure what AutoCamMax.gup is, if anyone knows, please tell

It is the new steering wheel/viewcube interface, I think.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

...which is totally useless and shouldn't even be mentioned in the "What's new?" list.
I for one never use it because I'm too used to using my scrollwheel and the Alt button. (That's alot of uses...)
I can't be arsed to move my mouse to the upperright corner and use that cube thing to decide my viewpoint.

Nice gimmick, but once again, totally useless.

haha, ofcourse, now that you mention it; by removing that file, all the new 2009 viewport crap has vanished and backburner seems to be happy - goody!

thumbs up for autodesk quality check
