I've always been curious about peoples avatars that i see on the forum. For anyone that has the time i would be interested in hearing the background or stories on some of the ones people have chosen...or if they are just an odd picture of themselves (or maybe not so odd, in some cases)

I usually just use daft images found on the net. Id never use a real photo of myself as im so good looking your screens would crack. Better to create your own image of what forum users look like in your mind - for example the dude in barbados i picture as about 8 foot tall with massive dreads. (sorry cant remember the username)

Thanks for reminding me to get mine sorted, got this ready to upload ages ago but completley forgot.

Mine's a play on my name. Shimakaze is Japanese and means "island wind" which is the direct translation of my Norwegian name, Øyvind. Couldn't figure out how to make wind show up properly in such a small picture though so I settled for making an island.

I couldn't find an example of the graphic on the net in the simple 1-bit format that it's broadcast in so I recreated it myself.

The chick in my avatar used to be the mascotte for a Dutch Radio station 3FM untill they changed their "motto" to: 3FM; Serious Radio.
I thought the chick was really cool and adopted it as avatar.

Doc is what people on the net use to call me but unfortunatly I can't use it on the forum (apparently already taken) and the subtitle "Seriously Psycho" is from an older avatar of an old doctor and some people thought I was a real psychiatrist who would play videogames in his spare time *snickers*
