i ran out of film for my vray virtual camera...where can i get more film?

seriously though...wouldn't it be nice to be able to have a film type selection embedded in the vray virtual camera such as fuji film or echtochrome or kodachrome...which all, in real life, give you very different results ...i know one can do achieve this by other means but having presets that match these film types would be ...um...way cool.

Can't find it back right now but I remember a site that had a bunch of different lut's (or maybe the were PS curves) that were to simulate different films in post

Yeah, nice. and nice even to do in post...

Just render out unclamped in 32bit float. and you can develop the look to perfection in near realtime during post. Even match grain, chromatic aberration, spherical distortion, corner softness, haze, halation and vignetting. etc.

yeah...i'm aware it can all be done in post (that's what "by other means" means)...but...for those of us that are lazy, i'll take a preset that one can choose at the time of rendering........and maybe, lens filter selection as a preset.

mikeh just wrote what i fell times to times...and of course all of this can be done elsewhere...that s not the point!the ability to produce some sort of "light" post production out-of-the-box isn't new and its present in some other rendering tools.
I don't think i am lazy! i work(ed ) alone for a long time and given the extreme deadlines i have to put up i cant afford to learn properly all the tools and tasks i wish. Therefore i have to concentrate all my efforts in keeping my skills up-to-date, instead of learning how to properly comp, and how to "redesign" my workflow. Thats pretty much the reason why such a tool would be damn handy imHo!

Imagenomic RealGrain + AlienSkin Exposure, but for my taste - realgrain da best. If you need, I can generate basic patterns from realgrain (for ex kodak, fuji etc.).
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?
