How to install 3ds max for distributed rendering

Hello,

just wondering how to do this....i have one licence of max, two comps and i wanna use vrays didstributed rendering feature.

in what mode do i install the 3dsMAX on the second computer?

it will be a standart install for a default 30 day trial mode. Max will expire in 30 days but network rendering and dr will work.

so the backburner will work as well?

will i be actually able to open the scene on the other comp to load the textures if necessary?

well after 30 day trial expires you wont be able to use actual max UI. But network rendering wise, it will work no problem. As long as your textures are located in the network directory so both machines can access them, it will be fine.
