  • Bombs in max

    I have a movie intro I am working on and I have a box and stuff that explodes....But the fragments that go everywhere suck....What else can I do? Can I insert something in their place?

    have you tried with particles? pflow does a good job with debris and stuff like that.

      Get RayFire Tool or RayXPLosion...that's some serious vandalism :P

        Try using martin breidts mbfracture from here - http://scripts.breidt.net/ - it uses slice modifiers and noises to make better look fragments than something parray. You might need to run it a few times to get the results you want but it's not bad at all - Pre break your objects and use bobos scene objects to particles tutorial here - http://www.scriptspot.com/bobo/mxs5/...nks_Basics.htm and you should get better results. Maybe even have them spawn trails of smaller bits to give you more detail.
