  • Maya Clusters in Max?

To anyone who's familiar with Maya, is there an equivalent in Max to clusters in Maya? For those not familiar with Maya, is there a way to group vertices of a mesh to a dummy object so you can control the vertices with one transform node? I don't animate much in max so it might be obvious and just something I'm missing.

There is the linked XForm Modifier. Apply a meshselect to your model, select which subobjects you want, add a linked XForm modifier and pick a control object ( a dummy most likely).

That'll do it. Thanks for the pointer.
