  • Ol' good glue plugin?

Hi all, is there a way to drop a number of objects onto another, along one axis only?
Yes, of course, like dropping people models, or plants, onto a terrain...

I am trying not to re-download and install Glue, even becuase I am not sure it works with max9...

Besides, I thought I remember there was a similar function built in max...

    Thank you

    regards

Check on scriptspot.com for a script called "do gravity". I think that will do what you need.

What's your problem with Glue? Does its job like it always did. (and in max 2008 too)

      Best regards,
      A.

I would suggest using the soulburn script pack from Neil Blevins. He is always one of the first to get his set of tools working with the latest MAX builds, and the set is a real treasure trove of useful tools. If you decide to go this route, look at the "objectDropper" and "objectPainter" tools for what you are needing here.
