Maxtro Mini HDD?

I want to buy one of these "mini" drives so I can carry it around easier.
On Tom's hardware site I found some tests and Maxtor "one Touch" mini drive came on top, speedwise and warranty wise( 5 year).
Has anyone here ever used this drive and what are your impressions?

I'm particularly interested how the backup "ghost" feature works. Is it posible to do it even if my HDD is different capacity and have you tried it in practise?

Well, I've got tired of waiting for suggestions and bought one the other day.
It's nice, small, lightweight and silent. Easy installation and relatively clean interface: You can backup, restore, shedule backups, encript for security and synchronize files. You do that just by rdag-and=drop to the maxtor panel. Transfer rate on my PC (2xXeon X5355) was about 20Mb/sec (usb)
I did the full system backup, 2 partitions(60Gb) in about 1 hour. It looks like maxtor compressed something becasue copied size was about 30Gb.
Now I'm waiting for mu PC to dies to check my restore option he,he

if it's mostly just for backup then I'd Much rather have a drive that doesn't need an external power supply. I've got one of the small WD drives. It's only 5400 rpm, but I just plug in the USB and go. Really nice for road trips. I only use it for storing stuff that takes up lots of space like vids, pics, and music though. I make periodic backups of my docs too. Still, it's fast enough.

Most laptops only have 5400rpm drives internally anway...if that. Mine Does have a 7200, but i don't really notice much slowdown with the 5400rpm drive. It seems just as fast as most thumb drives for the most part.

Just my recommendation if size and portability is a concern.

The one I bought is 120Gb (the smallest one) It spins at 7200rpm and has 16Mb cache buffer. To copy files you don't need to install anything. Just plug it in the usb and drag into files to be copied.

ah, hadn't seen the mini before. Nice
I got a 250gig a while back for 99usd. I think it's a fair trade-off, but the higher speed is pretty nice if you are going to be working from the drive at all.
