  • Learning Revit?

Can anyone recommend any good training books/dvds for Revit? I'm considering asking the boss for some training, as I seriously think i'd be looking at an at least 3 fold increase in model output speed. The amount of things that it's not good at is smaller than it was a few releases ago, and everything else seems very much aimed at what I/we do. I'd love to learn it in my free time and when i'm competent enough, make the switch (i've self taught myself everything in the past, and i'd do the same with Revit if I came from an architectural background, but I don't so it's a bit more that I can chew I think).

The whole office is making the move to Revit at the end of this year anyway, but i'd rather get trained up on it sooner.

      Revit

The tutorials that come with Revit are great! I learned Revit in a couple weeks.... it really has a small learning curve.

Bobby- I found Revit pretty easy to learn I have found that there are some applications (site work and adobe buildings) that really don't seem well covered with the tutorial. I am still struggling with site work flow.

          Revit

Site work is not one of Revit's strong points. AUGI was supposed to come out with a My ATP coase on sitework, but I must have missed it and they do not make the archive available for 6 months. I'll look around for you.
