  • Arial Black missing from InDesign?!?

Hi guys, I just reopened a documents in InDesign, first time since when I got my new Vista system, and Indesign is not finding Arial Black!
Of course I have the font in the system fonts folder...

I have done some research, but no solution yet...

    Any idea?

    thank you

PS: do you know a good adobe software forum?

It's working for me. Choose Arial from the font pulldown. Beneath it, you'll see the styles pulldown. From there you can choose narrow, regular, italic bold, italic, bold italic, and black.

You mean, in Vista Arial Black is under the Arial font family? Becuase before I am pretty sure they were two different fonts...

      I will check tonight...

      thank you

Yep. In XP it shows up as two different fonts. In Vista, it adds the "Black" under the styles with the bold and italic in Adobe applications; in MS Word Arial Black is still a different font.
