I'm not the one claiming to know exactly which law it is. Gnomon are - I just said that they claim it's covered under one.
If you still dont believe it, ask them for proof, see what they say.

Downloaded video mp3's etc, are not covered under the same laws as video, music etc on cd's dvd's tapes etc, It is legal in most cases to sell the used hardcopies.

Gnomon make great training DVD's but I wouldn't call this a law. Now maybe you should do a Google search on "The First Sale Doctrine of Copyright Law". Your reverse psychology is wasted on me.

Exactly but I fear Cubicle is on a quest. I just wish he would put so much effort into tracking down people who actually pirate software, DVD's etc.

Not to be blunt but I am happy for this to open up as a general discussion but in regards to my personal stance, work etc it is a mute point. I have contacted Gnomon to hear their view regarding my resale as I respect them as a company. I will wait to hear back from them. I know law is on my side but since I respect their company so much I am willing to take it into consideration. Now go after the people who pirate the stuff.

As I said the law is on my side but I am willing to respect what they want and take it into consideration. So no it will not be posted. I know you seem to think Gnomon writes the laws of the land but they don't. Busy yourself by contacting the people on e-bay selling their Gnomon DVD's as you have obviously found a subject you are passionate about.
