optimise workflow

hi, i have a view questions to optimise my viewport performance

i have a dell t7400 with a quadro fx4600.
since a view days i use the direct3d driver. i saw that there are many adjustments possible - are some of the usefull or should i let them on default?

can i drfine that the adaptive degredation also works when i zoom with mousescroll, and where can i adjust the degree of zooming by turning the mousewheel one notch?(the mouse properties in the control panel do not seem to influence it)

I think it is the default to degrade on pan and scroll, at least that's the default on my install
When you are far enough or do not scroll fast enough, degradation may not work.


If you right-click the Adaptive degradation box, bottom center of the screen,little cube, brings to viewport config. dialog box.
