backburner problems

hello all

I have problems with backburner... when submitting a job from max, then all settings I have made (wich render group is used or timeout) has been reset...

I have made all the changes in backburner.xml, but it doesn't help.
Do I have to edit the xml on the workstation or on the server, where the manager is running?

I use max9 and backburner 2007.0.2 with backburner 2007.0.1 it worked, but I can't get it anymore...

I'm not at work so I can't answer specifically. I believe the xml file exists in two places now or in newer versions Adesk relocated it. We were making changes to the xml and nothing was happening. Then we found the other one. One in Docs and Settings/user/app data/ etc and one in the program files/ or where ever BB is installed. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.

I don't know why it does it, but this is what I've done to fix it in the past.

Navigate to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\backburner\Network
open up backburner.xml

What I usually found was that the MaxClient and MaxClient_x86 tags needed to be swapped, if you cut and paste it so that x86 one is after the normal one it should work.
