  • ACIS boleean subtraction

    Ok guys,
I have this sweep thingy, and some triangular shapes that are supposed to punch openings into it. I cannot do it. It just refuses. Revit, and Autocad. No Go.

    Here is the model:

You find the original SAT file, with all triangular shapes to be subtracted, and a DWG file, where I managed to subtract the first group of shapes.
The problem is the second group of shapes. I tried everything....

Well, actually formZ did do the subtraction, but then I had to faceted the solid, no smooth surface anymore.

This should be done as ACIS boleean subtraction.

    Thank you for your help!

    regards

I can't get it to work either. One problem I noted is that the swept surface is not a valid shape manager solid when checked in autocad. Sorry I can't help more though.
