    Interesting article, those roof tiles look very good using a normal map, will have to try that one out.

    The article can also be translated to English using Google translate, there are a few errors in translation, but it's not too bad:

        I don't think theres any harm in me confirming that it will be in SP3. Generating those Vector Displacement maps is a whole other issue, however.

          good news....i believe one needs to operate packages such as zbrush or mudbox to extract vector displacement maps right?

            Well, Modo can do it too, and theres some tool for XSI that outputs them as well. I'm kind of surprised a standalone exe hasn't turned up - feed it an obj with correct UV's and off you go.
