I don't think he'd work in the uk but if you're willing to use a guy based in germany then Vadim Draempahl is seriously good. Really high quality work, quick and decent rates too. He mainly works in character studio so no problems with crazy rigs and what not. I've worked with him on and offsite and would highly recommend him - http://spellcraft.de/

I think it was round €1500 a week - very good for post production wage levels. Well worth it in terms of the quality. His english is good but he isn't as confident about it hence why he prefers working from germany and via email - it might take a day or two to get used to but his results are seriously high quality.
