    Have you guys checked sketch-up vray.

    These are some of the images we are producing in sketch-up with vray. We are producing some large renders , not ideal yet but definately something to watch for the future.

    And Google owns sketch up, so they don't need autodesk cash.

      I dont mind the idea of using something else, but i also dont like the idea of my other options and what I lose.

      As much as i hate certain parts of max, it is pretty damn good sometimes. (through no help from autodesk)

          it's pretty amazing that vray can do such a good job rendering the dogshit geometry that sketchup produces...

                They should team up with Michael Gibson of MoI. That guy has a good handle on 3d modeling efficiency.

                  I reckon we could do alot worse then find Vlado, hook him up in a large room full of fantastic computers, beautiful women, and an endless supply of food and drink and get him to do it.
