Hi,
i have problem with displacement here.
i'am rendering a Zdepth from an object in max, wich i'am using as displacement map for a plane. cause the client want an emboss-like effect from that object.
but when i render out the Vray-zdepht, i get color banding in it, wich is visible in displacement.
i don't know if its really a Vray Problem. cause i get same with MR and scanline.
in vray and MR its circular, and in scanline its horizontal...
i try'd to render out a 32bit floating point, but same result.

does anybody an idea how to avoid this?
i try'd to blur in PS. but no luck. when blur in max the edges getting unsharp too of course wich i don't want...
any ideas?
