  • Kind of OT: non rectangular region rendering

I'd like a way to be able to render part of an image that isn't necessarily square or rectangular. For example, I am rendering a 4x3k pixel image, but I want a diagonal strip rendering that covers the entire diagonal of the 4x3k image. Region rendering means rendering the entire image.
The vray frame buffer allows me to render the buckets under the mouse cursor, but this would mean hovering around for quite a long time if it is a complex render.

I guess there may be a script somewhere - I'll have a search...
    Kind Regards,

maybe the VRaySphereFade can be an option?
just put VRaySphereFades around the region you want to render.

Thats a good workaround. Might give it a try. It would be really nice if you could just draw the shape you wanted to render though...wishlist?????
