Absolutely, but im sure 1.09 was a lot lighter in code and didn't have to do as much as it has to do these days...

Yeah..its big news. Apparently its the end of the Aztec calendar. There are predictions as well. Plus a potentially good looking film coming out based on those events...sorry about going off topic. Cant really think what I would go back for...maybe to experience the birth of Christ and take an account of what actually happened.
Edit: To add to the end of the world stuff, the date is suspected to be 21.12.2012...which is the day before my birthday....damnit !Last edited by stevesideas; 09-04-2009, 06:29 AM.

Geez. The day before? That's a kick to the gonads; if anything.
Time machine concept from a fellow 30 minutes away from here:
UConn professor makes plans for time machine
It all works out math wise, but he's been looking for funding for years. Sounds like the perfect wedding gift to me though.

One thing I don't get is that when a shop or building has double doors - one of the doors is always locked.
Why?
You arrive at a set of double doors and pull one (doesn't work) so you then push the same one (doesn't work) so you pull the other door (doesn't work) then the last option is to push it and it opens.
Apart from being completely unnecessary, it has the ability to make yourself look like an ejit and causes me some levels of internal debate as to why such a concept exists. Why pay for 2 if one is only going to be used.

So the time machine should just have one door then, and be rectangular and small, like an old British phone booth.Last edited by rmejia; 09-04-2009, 09:28 AM.

I think I would travel just a few seconds back in time to when I am about to press the 'go' button in the time machine, hence I would exist for an eternity in an ever looping/repeating state of excitment..... or maybe not.Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
