dance floor procedural shader

I remember using this shader a long time ago but cannot seem to find it anywhere now...not even sure if there would be a version for max2009.

Anyone know where it is ?

I think that was one of cebas' shaders that came with pyrocluster or maybe one of there older particle systems.

ok weird. the color variance is acting more like fade variance in 2009

Sok, I ended up using a combination of a mosiac plugin from maxplugins and a texture...works nicely.
