What happened to 3dcafe ?

I saw 3dcafe mentioned in another thread so instead of hijacking I thought Id ask the question here.

I became a member and paid last year only to find I didnt actually visit the place again until my next payment went out automatically which I wont get back. There doesnt seem to be any activity at all at the place and the membership perks are quite pathetic.

Does anyone still use 3dcafe ?

same here. I stopped going there, when I started being able to make models superior to the cruddy ones you found in their free model bank.
