  • search 3d models of trucks

    hi there,
i am working on an eagle eye view of a shopping center, and need some 3d models of trucks for the delivery areas. would be nice to get some free ones, but would also pay for them.
    thanks

Grab the Dosch Transport models, they've got some good trucks and vans and such.

obj or fbx should do the job.

notice i said lwo. not obj. the files on that site are lwo files. i had to download a demo of deep exploration to convert them. if anyone else knows a different way to get lwo into max let me know.

It seems like I used one of the old Max 5 or previous LWO importers with success a release or two ago. Here is what the search for LWO under max 5 at maxplugins.de turned up:

Haven't tried it, but someone was saying they use Blender to convert formats... Might be worth giving it a shot. Let me know how that works

I just tried both of the importers I linked above with 2009 and they did not work.

However I did possibly stumble onto something akin to right hemisphere's Deep X, but with much less cost:

                      http://www.micromouse.ca/index.html

You can evidently use it for 30 days to see if it fits your needs, then decide to etiher pay up the $20 for continued use or honor the devs wishes and remove the program from your system.
