Max license for render nodes

I installed MAX in my render nodes as trial version, is the correct way to do it? or do you use your serial #?

I asking this because after 30 days expires, then if you want to change a setting or something the only way would be thru the INI file.

yes, that's the way to go

You can also use the portable license utility to get into Max on your nodes if you need to change things later. A bit of a pain but it's an option.
