hey whats the status of the latest version of simcloth 3? Is it in beta still?

Another thing: It would be nice if there were some presets for such things as cloth: silk, wool, cotton etc; rigid objects: stiff objects like wood, metal, or plastic and softer objects like rubber and such

there used to be a way to make curtains quick and easy in simcloth2 by binding the top verts in a plane to a cylinder and then animating the contraction over a 30 frames and having the cloth follow. that doesnt work in simcloth3 anymore for me.

any suggestions on how to get that effect again or am i gonna have to do really, really, fancy stuff now?

You can do that in exactly the same way as with the previous simcloth.

One thing I wonder about the latest version of Simcloth is the rigibody part. It's seem like SC3 only have softbodies now and if you want to have a stiff simple rigibody it's alot slower no since you have to use softbody and change the stiffness. Is there a way to add e option for that?
