    If it isn't one thing it is another.... I have lost my render menu. Any tips on getting it back? I am sure it is off screen.

      another trick, if more messy, in a way, is to right click on the windows taskbar, and stack the windows in one order or the other: that will bring just about any max ancillary window into view, but they'll have to be rearranged later.

        I had exactly that problem

        I had exactly that problem, my company bought me some lovely 24" LCD monitors, x 2 DVI inputs, but I couldn't see half my windows, so I just kept changing my primary monitor, laborious!
