the guys from Okino - using polygraph or nugraph has a plugin that can read dwf into max.
I have not tried it, but I have Polygraph and used it before to transfer some angineering format - worked excellent.

        DWF is a 3d format.
        see here: http://www.autodesk.co.uk/adsk/servl...932&id=6475302

a vector format isn't required - getting the 3d model back into max is what he is after.

Well it CAN be a 3d format. It's possible it's just a 2D plan in the DWF - Jack didn't specify.
          www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.
