Point Cloud data to max

Anyone managed to get pointcloud data into 3dsmax?

I have a scan of project that I need to get into max but I cant find any importers for the dataset.

Any ideas would be good!

Might be better/easiere to search for some free software to convert the pointcloud into a mesh.

Yeah I have searched but cant find anything.
There is a programme called Studio Clouds for max/maya but the support seems very slow, Im waiting for a trial license

try meshlab wich is opensource.

What format is the cloud in ?

Meshlab looks interesting.
The pointcloud info is in TXT format but I can get the raw scan data which i think is in PTS format.
I have managed to use Studio Clouds for max by Alice Labs.

Very very nice plugin and I would recommend it for anyone doing a lot of work in max from 3d scans.
