  • Secondary motion bounce

    Hi Guys,

I have an objects z rotation wired to a slider. I can keyframe a rotation of the object from angle a to b, but I was wondering if there was a way I could add an expression or have 3dsmax create some kind of automatic secondary motion to create a bounce at the end of the movement..

Anyone got any ideas how to do this ?
    Regards

There was a masterclass at siggraph last year that touched on this, don't have the notes in front of me but had something to do with using a spring controller in between your main object and the 'secondary movement' object. I'll see if I can find more details.

I managed to utilise the spring controller in the x movement of the object im animating, but there doesnt seem to be one for the rotational axis.
