Character Modelers/Textures

I got approached to see if I could model some fantasy figurines for a chess board. The items are pretty detailed - very similar to Dungeons and Dragons.

I'd like to try it myself because it looks like fun, but I simply do not have the time right now.

Is anyone out there good at character modeling and available to work on something like this?
