help with command

I have several hunderd contours from a client that I need to move to the appropraite elev. The elev mark is beside each pline, but everything is at zero. I need a command written that does the following.

Command name = MP... or whatever...

after command is typed... I would like to pick a pline, then type in an elev and then change the color to blue... can someone help me with this...

Since you mention a pline, are you looking for a script for autoCAD?

Hi Eric,

the easiest way to do this is to select the polyline and goto the properties panel in acad and change the elevation properties ...
if you need more help let me know i'll see what i can do...
