  • vue 8 x-stream with vray ?

    Hi,

did anyone of you allready have a chance to test it ? does vue do the job now together with vray, or is it still so buggy, you cant use it in any productionpipeline..

if you havent a programmer team..

      Well that sounds good..

but what in detail does this mean..

can i use Vray sun and sky together with the vue Athmospheric aperatus.. clouds, haze...

Can i output the rendered images with all nessesair vue channels (more than vray ?).

How is the viewport quality ?

      rendertimes ?

      antialiasing ?

yes you can use the sun/sky with the Vue atmospherics - but it is quite slow on certain cloud configurations

yes you can output the image with the channels and you can use max's render elements too

Viewport quality is good, for large scenes i would still work in vue then load it back into max with xStream

rendertimes are good, somethings like area lights can slow things down a fair bit

antialiasing is controlled by Vray so its as good or as bad as you need it to be

You should get the PLE (Personal Learning Edition) when it comes out and try for yourself
