Grass with GrowFX

Been thinking about buying Autograss but I gather GrowFX does Grass and a lot more. Has anyone used GrowFX for grass? Any opinions on it?

GrowFX is great, but GrowFX and Autograss/VRS/ForestPro are completely different products. GrowFX is for making the base plants, so you could make your patch or bunch of grass with it, and then you'd have to scatter it with VRS or FP. GrowFX could, theoretically, do what Autograss does, but you'd have precisely the same problems as if you'd done it manually in Max - the memory requirements would be huge.

If you're wanting nice lawns that don't kill your computer - get Autograss.
