I'm a bit unclear on the rules... it says not to do anything to the ground plane, but most of the top rated submissions do... so what's the deal?

Shimakaze: We're trying to be leniant with the groundplane issue. The main purpose for maintaining a semi-clear groundplane is so that there is consistency between the submissions. So long as the grid can be clearly visible in the submission, it's cool.

pskdude: These are all artist submissions, not mine. But yeah, that one's dead cool!

You can browse through the main gallery by rating and see which ones are at the top.

The highest rated one doesn't have the ground plane at all though. the airplanes one (which is really cool btw). I'm gonna have to try to come up with an idea for one too...
