I am using Max 2009 with Win 7 pro 64. I recently bought an ATI Firepro V5700 workstation card, but found it's performance to be really poor, much worse than my old Nvidea Quadro FX 1400 which is way older and has about a quarter of the memory and much less processor power. I have all the latest drivers for the ATI card and have checked everything at least a dozen times. I even had another V5700 shipped to me thinking it might have been a faulty card but the same problems persisted. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem could be? Is Win 7 64 just too new for the hardware? Should I wait for new drivers? Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Cheers.
