particles wobble

Does anyone know how to get particles to wobble ? Im using particle flow. I need to simulate a small wobble for each particle but it needs to just stay roughly near the original particles position so i cannot use forces as they are too random...probably a script solution..

maybe a geometry particle with the pivot off centre?

Thanks, but I ended up using a array particle system with no speed and then used the wobble feature on that.
