Interactive map work

This may be waaaaay off topic but this is the community I know best so I figure I start here.

I am looking for help putting together an interactive map (3d birds eye type). Similar to an interactive Google map where you can leave comments. So can anyone recommend or anyone here with ajax, php, and server side scripting for an interactive map web application?

Some on this forum have worked on projects that end up as interactive web pages so maybe you can point me in the right direction.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Take a look at Geoserver and Openlayers - Geoserver to serve the data and openlayers to display it. As far as the commenting, I'm not sure, but the 3D birds eye could pretty easily be loaded into geoserver as a raster image, then you'd be able to pan/zoom all around the map.
