        Just made it for a girl Dunno if it's comfortable. Doesn't fit my foot
        I just can't seem to trust myself

          man that's weird
          not having any idea what they are I thought I was looking at something about 500mm X 300mm (I didnt read the numbers..)
          (2 foot by 8 inches)
          then when I googled 'geta' and saw they were shoes i thought ok they're massive snow shoes for the washintgon drifts..

          anybody else ever get that funny feeling when scale clicks back into what it should be and you feel almost dislocated ?!

            You weren't far off. They were indeed made that way to keep the feet away from rainwater and snow. Sounds like it could be a big hit in the US right now... "aaaah there's 10 inches of snow!! It's the snowpocalypse!!" :P

            edit: Anyone else having trouble getting the Quoting system to work properly in the new forum?
