Backburner corruption - suggestions?

My backburner seems to have become corrupted. When viewing the task summary, job details, errors or even when trying to edit the job properties I get tons of garbage text "@#&&#@" instead of titles of that particular attribute.



Any ideas? I'm using Design 2010 64, although my co-worker with the same basic machine doesn't have these problems at all... I've uninstalled BB. Deleted all the BB files in program files and docs & settings and reinstalled to have it still not work. It's pretty frustrating...
