  • anyone experienced working with Indigo?

Indigo has been out there for a (long) while now; from what I know it uses (bidirectional) path tracing with optional MLT sampling.

with comps getting faster each year, i hope that the guys at chaosgroup dont miss the train and have some aces up in their sleeves
    We sure do

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Please, a little more info :P

I've experimented with Indigo as well as another unbiased engine and all I can say is the renders look magical when you are at low sampling levels but when (if) it cleans up the result is just a rendered image amongst the others.

yes, from browsing the gallery one can see its not that amazing...its all about texturing and materials

        VLADO:
        no prob Vlado )))) LOL
i know from other topics that you have mentioned you will reveal some of the planned features for the upcoming vray release...i cannot resist to ask....but will try
will we get some new vray material features such as diffraction? ive tried some of the faking shaders, but theyre not very persuading.

        best regards
