  • Want to create non square mosiac, like max celluler map, but not as ugly as celluler

    Hi all

Well the title says it. I want to create a non-uniform tile pattern. The celluler map gets me close, but it has too many "artifacts" and in some areas it makes the grouting as thick as the tile itself. Any thoughts?
    Kind Regards,

Have you tried any of the Bercon maps? I'm sure the noise does a variation of Max's cellular map, but I could be mistaken...

Yes I've looked into it, but from the screenshots it seems it only creates noise on top of the celluler. (I haven't actually tried it - YET) In other words it distorts the map below it. I need a crisp irregular random tile shape with a crisp grouting line between.

hmmm I just now thought about using regular tile pattern with both crisp tile and crisp grout, then just use berconmaps to distort the shape. I recon that will give me what Im after.
